Conference fees and timings 

Early bird registrations opened on 9 October 2023 and will close on 8 March 2024. Register here.

Early bird fee for in-person attendance is £200, which will rise to £250 from 9 March 2024. Online registration is £30 and this fee will remain the same (i.e. no early bird rate).

If you anticipate any barriers to you participating in the conference, including a need for financial support, please get in touch via co2re@smithschool.ox.ac.uk and we will do our best to support you. 

Abstract submissions - closed

Abstract submissions were open from 9 October 2023 until 1 January 2024. We are currently reviewing your submissions and aim to get back to you by the end of February 2024.

Conference location

Arrival and local transport 

Oxford is connected to various cities and towns in the UK by both rail and ground transport.  

The nearest train station to the conference is Oxford Station. Various routes from the station to the venue (the Mathematical Institute) can be found here

The most conveniently connected airports to Oxford are London Heathrow (LHR), London Gatwick (LGW), and Birmingham (BHX). If you are travelling to Oxford from either of the London airports, you can take an airline bus to Gloucester Green Coach Station. From Birmingham, you can take a national express bus to Gloucester Green. 

Visa requirements 

Some delegates who plan to travel to the UK from overseas solely to attend the conference might require a Standard Visitor Visa. Please ensure you check the eligibility requirements prior to registering and complete all necessary steps well in advance of the conference. 

If you know you will require an invitation letter to support your visa application, please write to co2re@smithschool.oc.ac.uk as soon as possible. 

Health recommendations  

We recommend obtaining travel insurance. If you feel any sickness or symptoms of illness during your time here, please contact your hotel in the first instance or seek medical attention. Emergency medical attention from the NHS can be sought at 111.
